Technical Consultant for Disaster Recovery
Project Service Delivery (Infrastructure)
| Responsibilities: |
- The Technical Consultant reports to Solution Manager (Hiring Manager) with direct responsibility to Project Manager(s) and responsible for project delivery consulting and implementation services.
- Primarily focus in business continuity planning, disaster recovery and business impact analysis.
- Assist Solution Architect in design and development of architecture roadmaps for the solution.
- To lead a deployment team in the implementation and be able to provide guidance and technical/functional support to the client and peers.
- Prepares solutions & Bill of Material (BOM) for Statement of Work (SOW) proposals with guidance from Solution Architect and Project Manager.
- Involved in all phases of project implementation. Plans and oversee the implementation of the solution.
- Creation of Disaster Recovery Plans in support of the identified DR Critical Applications for recovery in a data center.
- Technical in scope and centered around the IT requirements of disaster recovery, the recovery strategy details the infrastructure necessary to recover the environment within the recovery times for as specified in the BIA.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of current disaster recovery planning techniques and technologies.
- Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills.

| Requirements: |
- At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
- Full-Time positions available.
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
- Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) or Associate Disaster Recovery Planner accreditation preferred.
- Microsoft Certified System Engineer highly.
